Mission Statement

“To provide Spartan student-athletes with the means to develop to the fullness of their potential through a safe and nurturing environment, effective scientifically-proven methods, education and athlete-centered coaching”
 
Sparta is a 1100 square foot space and is home to all of TWU’s Varsity teams and over 300 athletes.  Our strength & conditioning department is led by Cole Hergott and assisted by a team of undergraduate coaches.

S&C Internship
Students looking to further their career development and gain experience in the field of strength & conditioning can apply to be a Sparta Intern. The Sparta Internship is an opportunity for students to apply what they are learning in class, ask questions, and get real hand-on experience coaching Spartan Athletes.
