Endurance Coach Mark Bomba
"I was impressed with how things went in our first race. I think I was particularly impressed with some of our first-year athletes, especially Jouen. I think she's going to really surprise some people this year. She ran really well today and from what I've seen so far, she's going to really help us fill in a gap left by the athletes we lost from last year."
The Spartans will now prepare for the UVIC Invitational Oct. 14 at Beacon Hill Park in Victoria.
