LANGLEY, B.C. – It'll be a battle between the top two women's volleyball teams in the country this weekend, as No. 2-ranked Trinity Western (10-0) hosts No. 1 Calgary (10-0) in a battle between the last two undefeated teams in Canada West Friday and Saturday at the Langley Event Centre this weekend.

Friday, Nov. 30 vs. Calgary – 6:30 p.m. (PT)

• This weekend will see a battle between a pair of teams that have both been perfect throughout the preseason and regular season, with TWU sporting a 19-0 overall record and Calgary owning a 15-0 mark.
• The last time TWU was involved in a match between the top two teams in the country was in 2015-16, when the No. 2 Spartans hosted No. 1 Alberta. The teams split the weekend series. That year, the Spartans went on to win their second straight Canada West championship and a U SPORTS silver medal.
• TWU is coming off a bye weekend, while Calgary made short work of Manitoba, sweeping the weekend series in just six sets.
• Including preseason and regular season games, the defending Canada West champion Dinos have earned four straight wins against the Spartans.
• TWU's last win against the Dinos was Nov. 4, 2016 (3-0).
• TWU's middle blockers are ranked first in second in blocks per set in Canada West, with Mikaelyn Sych (Airdrie, Alta.) topping the league with 1.54 and Avery Heppell (Langley) second at 1.20.
• Calgary's Beth Vinnell (Cochrane, Alta.) leads Canada West in hitting percentage at .409, while Sych sits second, with .389.
• The Dinos libero Kennedy Snape (Yorkton, Sask.) leads Canada West with 4.47 digs per set.
• Calgary's Kate Pexman is fourth in CW with 3.79 kills per set.
• The Spartans have bettered the Dinos in both kills and blocks to this point in the season. TWU has 483 kills on the season, compared to Calgary's 478 and 108 blocks to the DInos 80.
