SEATTLE – Trinity Western's Emma Li (Markham, Ont.) cleared a season's best 3.71m to lead the Spartans track and field teams Friday at the UW Invitational at Dempsey Indoor.
Li equaled teammate Madison Evans (Calgary) to finish second in their Friday night flight.
Meanwhile, Zach Augenstein (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) also had a season's best in the pole vault pit, clearing 4.57m to finish fourth in his flight.
The Spartans will continue to compete in the UW Invitational Saturday.
