SPARTANS RETURN HOME TO HOST UBC OKANAGAN, THOMPSON RIVERS

LANGLEY, B.C. – Coming off back-to-back road wins and three straight clean sheets, the Trinity Western women's soccer team (4-2-0) is back at home this weekend to host UBC Okanagan Friday and Thompson Rivers Saturday at Chase Office Field.

THE WEEKEND STORY
• The Spartans are riding a three-match winning streak and return home after knocking off then No. 10-ranked MacEwan.
• TWU had four different goal-scorers in their two wins last weekend, with Jenaya Robertson (Delta, B.C.), Rachel Hutchinson (Cloverdale, B.C.), Seina Kashima (Burnaby, B.C.) and Kathryn Harvey (Coquitlam, B.C.) all scoring.
o Harvey's goal was her first as a Spartan since transferring to TWU this year from LIU Brooklyn, where she played lacrosse.
• Robertson now has a team-leading three goals, while Hutchinson (2G, 1A) and Kashima (1G, 2A) are tied with Robertson for the team-lead in points.
• After allowing seven goals in their first three games, the Spartans have earned three shutouts in a row and come into the weekend having gone 286 minutes without giving up a goal.
• TWU is 4-0-1 all-time against UBC Okanagan, including last year's 3-0 playoff win in the Pacific Division Play-In Game.
• The Spartans are 4-0-0 against the WolfPack all-time.
• The Heat and WolfPack are the two lowest scoring teams in Canada West, having scored just three goals each.
• TRU's Danielle Robertson is second in Canada West with 35 saves.
• Camryn Curts has a team-high two goals for TRU.
• UBCO's Andrea Stinson (1G, 1A) is the lone Heat player with more than one point.
