NO. 2 SPARTANS HOST LETHBRIDGE FRIDAY, NO. 5 CALGARY SATURDAY

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The No. 2 Spartans women's soccer team returns to Chase Office Field for its final regular season home weekend. With first place in the Pacific Division clinched, Trinity Western hosts Lethbridge Friday and No. 5 Calgary Saturday in a pair of preparatory games for the Canada West post-season.

THE WEEKEND STORY
•    With first place in the Pacific Division already ensured, TWU has now finished first in its division or in the conference in four of the last six years.
•    While Friday's contest is a mismatch on paper, Saturday's game features the two best teams in Canada West. With Calgary coming into town, this could well be a preview of key Canada West playoff matchup.
•    Saturday's game also has an intriguing coaching matchup as the Dinos are coached by Troye Flannery, who is a TWU alumnus and a former assistant coach with the Spartans men's soccer team.
•    TWU's Isabella Di Trocchio (Burnaby, B.C.) leads the CIS with five game-winning goals this year. With two more, she would tie Spartans record-holder Jessica King, who tallied her seven in 2014, when she was named the CIS Player of the Year.
•    Di Trocchio has a team-leading seven goals.
•    Rachel Hutchinson (Cloverdale, B.C.) leads TWU with 10 points, including three goals and seven assists.
•    Calgary's Mollee Ramsay leads the conference with 11 goals, while Maddie Lee tops Canada West with 10 assists.
•    The Dinos have outscored their opposition 44-8. TWU has outscored its competition 28-5.
