We are currently sitting on a train in Osaka, Japan! It is 10:30 pm Japan time on Saturday, however it is 6:30 am BC time on Friday. So a few of us have almost been awake for 24 hours! Woohoo! We are trying hard to keep our eyes open. Most of the girls are sleeping on the train at the moment.

Anyways, let's rewind to the beginning of the day. Today at 12pm we hopped on an airplane in Vancouver and flew 11 hrs to Osaka, Japan! After a long flight, we were all very excited to land in Japan! We headed straight to our hotel, and were given some very useful umbrellas for the walk to the train station (there is a typhoon coming our way).

We took three trains to get to the YMCA in Osaka. At the YMCA we ran a basketball clinic for a group of kids who come to play there every week. Even though there were some language barriers, it was neat to see how we could all communicate through basketball. When we said words like "step back" or "fadeaway", most of the kids knew what we were talking about, which was really neat to see.

After our time with the kids, we headed to a food market where we had a tasty dinner, and now we are now heading back to our hotel. We have another packed day tomorrow, so for now we are going to try and get some sleep!
