KINGSTON, Ont. – Trinity Western fourth-year cross country star Nick Colyn (Langley, B.C.) finished 25th overall at the 2018 Canadian Cross Country Championships, while second-year Jouen Chang (Langley) was 31st amongst U20 athletes Saturday.
Coming off a seventh place finish at the 2018 U SPORTS Cross Country Championships, Colyn, who was the lone Spartan competing in the men's race, finished the 10 kilometre route in 31:26.4.
Meanwhile, Chang, who won the Junior Girls title at the BC Championships in late October and was 31st overall at the U SPORTS Championships, crossed the line in 22:59.3 over six kilometres.
TWU also had a pair of alums earn top 10 finishes on the women's side, with Sarah Inglis ('16) finishing ninth in 35:01.4 over 10 kilometres and Lisa Brooking ('17) finishing 10th in 35:02.1.
