WHITE LEADS SPARTANS AT CANADIAN CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

KINGSTON, Ontario – Coming off a second place finish at the U Sports championships, Trinity Western's Declan White (South Surrey, B.C.) led the Spartans men's contingent at the 2016 Canadian Cross County Championships, finishing 19th overall Saturday.

White finished the 10 kilometre race in 30:45.6 to lead TWU.

In the junior men's race, TWU's Nick Colyn (Langley) finished ninth in 25:10.5 over the eight kilometre course. Colyn was 19th at the U Sports championships.

The Canadian championships marks the end of the fall cross country season for the Spartans.
