    KAMLOOPS, British Columbia – The Trinity Western men’s volleyball team lost their first match of the season 3-1 to the Thompson Rivers WolfPack Saturday night in Kamloops, B.C. The three-time defending Canada West champion Spartans evened their preseason record at 1-1 with the 25-20, 21-25, 23-25, 24-16 loss to the WolfPack.

    LANGLEY, British Columbia – There will be a strong Trinity Western flavour at this year’s FIVB Men’s World Championship, as four Spartan alums made Canada’s 14-man roster, including Ryan Sclater (’17), Lucas Van Berkel (’14), Dan Jansen Van Doorn (’13) and Steven Marshall (’13).

    SAO PAULO, Brazil – Trinity Western’s men’s volleyball team, representing Canada, earned a bronze medal at the inaugural FISU America Games, beating Mexico in a thrilling five-setter 21-25, 30-28, 19-25, 25-16, 15-13 Thursday at the Brazilian Paralympic Center.
  • CANADA (TWU) FALLS TO ARGENTINA IN THREE SETS, PLAYS BRAZIL IN SEMIFINALS

    SAO PAULO, Brazil – Trinity Western’s men’s volleyball team, who are representing Canada at the FISU America Games, dropped a three-set decision to Argentina, losing 27-25, 25-19, 25-19 in the Spartans final game of pool play Tuesday at the Brazilian Paralympic Center.

    SAO PAULO, Brazil – Trinity Western’s men’s volleyball team donned the Maple Leaf for the first time in the FISU America Games and did Canada proud, earning a 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-17) win over Colombia Sunday at the Brazilian Paralympic Center.
  • SPARTANS SET TO REPRESENT CANADA AT FISU AMERICA GAMES IN BRAZIL

    LANGLEY, British Columbia – The three-time reigning Canada West champion Trinity Western men’s volleyball team is set to represent Canada at the inaugural FISU America Games in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The team will be in Brazil from July 19-30.
  • MEN’S VOLLEYBALL STARTS SEASON ON THE ROAD, HOSTS ALBERTA IN HOME-OPENER

    LANGLEY, British Columbia – The three-time defending Canada West champion Trinity Western men’s volleyball team will begin its quest for a four-peat with a road trip to play UBC Okanagan (Oct. 26-27) before returning to the Langley Events Centre to host Alberta in a critical home-opening weekend (Nov. 2-3). The Canada West regular season schedule was announced Wednesday.
