LINDE THIRD IN 200M AT UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON HUSKY CLASSIC

SEATTLE – Trinity Western sprinter James Linde (Coquitlam, B.C.) finished third in the 200m in an indoor personal best 21.62 at the University of Washington's 2017 Husky Classic Friday at Dempsey Indoor.

Linde closed well down the final stretch in an attempt to track down Canadian Olympian Mobolade Ajomale, who edged the fifth-year Spartan by 0.03. The University of Washington's Jacopo Spano posted a personal best 21.36 to win from an earlier heat.

Linde's time marks yet another improvement on his performances so far this year. Linde clocked a time of 21.83 to open the season before posting a time of 21.72 at the University of Washington Invitational in late January.

The Spartans will continue to compete at the Husky Classic Saturday and the UW Open Sunday.
