LINDE FINISHES FOURTH IN 200M AT UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON INVITATIONAL

SEATTLE – Trinity Western's James Linde (Coquitlam, B.C.) finished fourth overall in the 200m to lead the Spartans men's track and field team on the first day of the University of Washington Invitational Friday at Dempsey Indoor.

Linde crossed the line in 21.72, bettering his result from two weeks ago when he ran 21.83 to finish third at the University of Washington Indoor Preview.

Nick Ayin (Coquitlam, B.C.) also ran the 200m, clocking a time of 22.85 to finish 28th.

In the 3000m, Caleb De Jong (Winnipeg) finished third in his section in 8:29.20, while Nick Colyn (Langley, B.C.) was seventh in the same section in 8:33.80.

The team will continue to compete in Seattle Saturday on the second day of the UW Invitational.
