UNBEATEN SPARTANS HOST SIMON FRASER FRIDAY

LANGLEY, B.C. – The undefeated Trinity Western Spartans men's hockey team (4-0) hosts a lone game this weekend against Simons Fraser (5-2) Friday at the Langley Event Centre.

THE WEEKEND STORY
• This marks the second time this season that the Spartans have matched up with the Clan. In their last meeting on Oct. 13th the Spartans eared a 4-1 win.
• The Spartans remain undefeated this season, sitting at 4-0. While SFU is sitting at 5-2, one of those losses coming at the hands of the Spartans.
• Tonight marks the 100th game for fifth-year Spartans Florian Niedermaier (Davos, Switzerland). Through his first 99 games, he has 35 goals and 21 assists.
• Niedermaier is the third Spartan to join the 100-game club, coming alongside Trevor Beaupre, who finished with 109 games played, and Cody Stephenson, who played 105 games.
• TWU's Evan Last (Surrey, B.C.), Dustin Deugau (Calgary), and Brandon Potomak (Aldergrove, B.C.) sit in the top three spots on the BCIHL's league leaders list for points per game. Last tops the league with 2.3 P/G, followed by Deugau sitting with an even 2.0 P/G, and Potomak is third with 1.8 P/G.
• The Spartan's Lucas Mills (Burnaby, B.C.) Leads the BCIHL is save percentage (SV%) at 0.938, while SFU's goalies Ryan Sandrin (Setagaya, Japan) and Michael Lenko (Gabriola Island, B.C.) sit in second and fifth in the league with 0.907 SV% and 0.849 SV%.
