LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western University Director of Athletics, Jeff Gamache announced that Trinity Western University will begin a search for a new men’s basketball head coach for the 2019-2020 Canada West season.
“We are moving in a new direction beginning next year,” said Gamache. “Trinity Western is committed to bringing the men’s basketball program back to being a contender in Canada West and U Sports. And we are looking forward to beginning this process in the 2019-2020 season.
In 2010-11 the Spartans men’s basketball team earned a Canada West bronze medal and a CIS (U Sports) silver medal, losing to the Carlton Ravens in the national championship game.
A nation-wide search for a new head coach will begin shortly.
