U SPORTS TOP 10 | MVB NO. 1, WBB NO. 10, WVB NO. 10

LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western women’s basketball team is ranked in the U SPORTS Top 10 for the first time in program history, as the Spartans enter the nationwide rankings this week at No. 10. On the volleyball court, the Spartans men’s team remains No. 1 in the Top 10, while TWU’s women’s team is No. 10.

The Spartans women’s basketball team (12-4) is coming off a weekend split with Saskatchewan, in which TWU earned a road victory over the Huskies for the first time ever.

TWU, who is third in the Canada West standings, is back at home this weekend, with the Spartans hosting Thompson Rivers Jan. 26-27 at the Langley Events Centre.

As has been the case all season, the men’s volleyball team (17-1) came in at No. 1 after a weekend sweep of Regina. The women’s volleyball team (13-5) dropped one spot to No. 10 following a weekend split with Regina.
