LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western University has four of its six in-season teams ranked in the U SPORTS Top 10 this week, with men’s volleyball No. 2, women’s volleyball No. 3, women’s track and field No. 8 and men’s track and field No. 10.

Following a bye week for the Spartans volleyball teams, neither side moved in the rankings, with the men’s team at No. 2 for the third week in a row and the women’s team at No. 3 for the eighth consecutive week.

Both teams are back in action this weekend when they travel to play Winnipeg.

On the track, the Spartans women’s team moved up one spot to a season-high No. 8 in the latest rankings, while the men’s team cracked the Top 10 for the first time this year.

The Spartans pole vaulters will compete in a home meet this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (PT) at the David E. Enarson Gym, while the rest of the men’s and women’s teams will prepare for the Canada West championships Feb. 24-25 in Regina.
