The Spartans have almost assuredly, but not officially, locked up home court advantage for the first round of the playoffs for the first time in program history. TWU enters the weekend tied with visiting UBC in the RPI, which determines playoff positioning. It has yet to be determined where TWU will finish, but with the top eight teams in the conference all earning home playoff dates, the Spartans have set themselves up well heading into the final weekend.

It is senior weekend as TWU will honour its graduating seniors, including Luca Schmidt, Nat Carkner and Jamie Andrews-Stobart in a special post-game ceremony Saturday.
